John LAWRENCE

John Lawrence is a Ruffed Grouse hunter with over 36 years of experience, a state licensed/insured guide and grouse specialist. His love of bird hunting started many years ago when he was a young boy growing up in south-east Oklahoma chasing the Bobwhite quail. After John completed his military service (Army), he decided to come back to Michigan, where he was born and where his family resided. Once he found the Ruffed Grouse and recognized it as king of all game birds, John has pursued no other. He will not even shoot at a Woodcock because, he says, “It spooks the grouse.”
